RECONNECT AND EVOLVE

What is a Reconnective Healing® session like?

For a person

Picture
For an in-person session, you, the client, will lie down, fully clothed, on a massage table. The only touch will be a tap on your arm or shoulder at the beginning and at the end of your session.  For optimal results and the best possible experience, I will ask you to quiet your mind during the session, detach yourself from any specific intentions or expectations and to be in a receptive state.  Your eyes will be closed and your arms relaxed to your sides. The time on the table will be twenty-five to thirty minutes, with some time before and after the session reserved for discussion.

For an animal

Animals are very receptive to Reconnective Healing®.  Different animals react differently during a session.  Most of them will have a change in their breathing, which becomes more relaxed.  A large animal such as a horse will get droopy eyes and a slack lower jaw.   Some animals want to touch the practitioner, others go to another part of the room. at a distance.  I have seen interesting eye movements in cats and dogs, moving from side to side, as if they are looking for something or someone in the room, until they get relaxed and glassy.  Cats sometimes purr loudly during the session.   If other animals  in addition to the one being treated are present in the room, they usually entrain automatically, becoming relaxed as they join in the healing.

Distance Reconnective Healing® Sessions

Picture
Reconnective Healing® is just as effective remotely as it is in-person for the simple fact that the frequencies do not diminish with distance.  The session will unfold in a similar fashion to the in-person version.  At a predetermined time, you will lie down or recline in a comfortable chair, close your eyes and simply relax and observe for twenty-five to thirty minutes.  The session will be followed by a brief phone conversation.  For an animal, the session can take place any time.  Their human guardian does not need to be present.

How many sessions should I schedule?

If you or your animal is new to Reconnective Healing®, it is highly recommended to do three consecutive sessions.  This will ensure the greatest impact.  Then, you may wait thirty days before doing another session if you wish.
